Privacy policy

English version of the library’s published Arabic policy. Last substantive review: September 2026.

What the library receives

Sign-in takes place through your Zayenha Hub account. The library receives your account identifier, name and email from the Hub; it does not create or store your Hub password. During use, it stores reading progress, highlights, notes, quotations and personal reading statistics needed for the service.

How the data is used

The library uses these records to provide access, synchronize your reading and send service notices. It does not sell user data. Zayenha Hub handles identity, payments and invoices; card details do not pass through the library. If you subscribe to messages, contact details are sent to the Hub for that subscription, with an unsubscribe option in messages.

Hosting and security

Library data is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure, and connections use HTTPS. The Hub handles user authentication. The library administration area uses password hashing and mandatory two-factor authentication.

Cookies and measurement

Essential cookies keep the site and account session working. Marketing cookies and X, TikTok and Google measurement tags are subject to your explicit “Accept all” choice. Before that choice, the default consent settings deny analytics and advertising storage. The library measures visits, book-page views, checkout starts and completions, and campaign source without linking those events to a name, email or phone or storing a raw IP address in measurement records. A raw IP may be held in free-book activation and administrator-login audit records for account security; these records are not used for marketing attribution. It does not store the text typed into library search; measurement keeps only the matched book identifier. An anonymous browser identifier ends when the tab closes if you choose “Essential only”. You can change your choice through Cookie settings in the site footer.

Retention and requests

Measurement records are deleted by a scheduled daily process after 400 days. Order records are kept for the applicable invoicing period. You may request deletion of your library account and associated reading data at z@zayenha.com. We process the request within seven business days and explain what was deleted and what must be retained by law, such as invoice records. Your shared Zayenha Hub account and its data are managed by the Hub. Mention contact messages or newsletter subscriptions if your request includes them.
